Romans 5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
All people seek some kind of hope. Most people wake up hoping this day will be better than yesterday, that things will improve, things will go well, and some just hope that what has happened to them never ever happens again.
Here’s a fact: Not everyone’s hope is based by faith in Christ and anchored in God’s love. The truth is, there is only ONE hope that does not disappoint, and it’s all because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us (Rom 5:5).
God loves me, and His love is my hope!
You see the result of knowing and believing in Jesus is to have a heart filled with a hope, genuine real hope that never ever disappoints. Listen, God didn’t give us some of His love, He poured His love into us!
His love is not like ours that comes and goes and can become, more or less, or is there today and gone tomorrow, His love stays the same cause He is love! He proved His love to us as it is written: But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8). That’s how much God loves us, and that love results in a special hope, a hope that every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute, every second never disappoints.
Our hearts can be full, because if God Himself poured out His love in us, those who receive it, will surely live from it, and be a people that carry HOPE.
It does not matter what takes place today or tomorrow and every day on this earth, it cannot rob my hope in Christ, cause God's love fills me, as Paul wrote: Who will separate us from the love of Christ — tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword (Rom 8:35)?
Do you have this hope, because it’s based on God's love for you, and He does love you, Christ proved it!
May you possess the knowledge of HOW much He loves you, and realize how powerful His love is, cause now you can live with a hope that never fails!
